Wilton gingerbread house kit
One of the great memories of going to Grandma's for Christmas was the smell of gingerbread and the fantasy house perched on the mantel. Now you can create great memories for your kids or grandkids with this vintage (1987) Wilton kit. Heck - the little ones can be part of the construction crew! The kit contains everything (except ingredients) you need to build a basic house: patterns, cookie cutters, bags and tips. There is also a set of recipes and instructions for baking and building several styles of houses. Once you get your feet wet (or your hands sticky), with the first bungalow, you'll be ready to experiment with trims, balconies, towers, chimneys and whatever else strikes your fancy. You'll be able to set up a whole village - maybe by the train set?! Although Christmas comes to mind when you say "gingerbread house", there's nothing stopping you from making a bunny house for Easter, a haunted house for Halloween, a Home Sweet Home for someone's first house, a honeymoon cottage for the newlyweds, Cinderella's castle for a birthday or ???
